We encourage you to put booking information on your invitations. Your Event Manager will send you a Room Booking Guide that includes 3 different ways to book – online with a link specific to your wedding, the email address of our Reservations team and the phone number for our Reservations Team. The Booking Guide will also include information that your guests need to let our reservations team know if they are emailing or calling.
You are responsible for 30% of your contracted guest count in rooms (ex; 100 guests= 30 rooms). A two-night minimum stay is required for all guests on weekends. Please note that if your final guest count is lower than expected, your final invoice will still reflect the cost of 30% of your contracted guest count in rooms.
Your room block will be released to the public 120 days prior to your event. We highly recommend that all your guests staying with us book their rooms before the 120 days to ensure that they are withing the wedding block. Rooms will be subject to hotel availability if they book within 120 days.
You will have access to decorate the room the morning of your event. You are responsible for setting up and tearing down all décor and it must be removed by 10:00 am the following day. Speciality linens/runners or any tableware décor, must be delivered to KML and communicated with the Event Manager at least 48 hours before event start time to facilitate proper set-up.
Upon booking you will be assigned a dedicated Event Manager who will be responsible for planning and coordinating the function details. This includes; reception & ceremony site set up (not decorations), food and beverage management, menu and timing refinements and staffing. Access to the resort must be scheduled with and approved by your Event Manager.
All deposit amounts below will be applied throughout your contract and will be listed on the final invoice for your function. Payments on the account can be made in the form of cash, credit card or debit card. In the event of overpayment, the outstanding balance with be refunded following the function on.

As Mother Nature does not always cooperate, the ceremony will take place in the reception hall that will be set up for your guests. Please note this might need to be a standing cerem

Yes, you can bring in a laptop or Ipad to play your own music provided you have booked one of our audio visual packages. Your Event Manager can advise you of the audio visual package options for your venue room. As there are specific requirements for your equipment (laptop) to work with our systems, a trial run the day before is required.
After booking your wedding at Killarney Mountain Lodge, we would like to invite you to enjoy a complimentary wedding menu tasting hosted by your Event Manager. Your Event Manager will send you further details on the menu tasting after you’ve booked your wedding.
Our wedding menu dinner package gives your guests a choice of entrée - 2 meat and 1 vegetarian. As we need the final count for each selection 14 days prior to your event, it is a good idea to include this information on your wedding invitations or wedding website if possible. Please ask your guests to also include any food allergies information.
Once you have the final numbers for each selection (14 days prior to the event), please advise your Event Manager with the totals and a master list with names and their selections. It is your responsibility to do place or name cards to let our service staff know what entrée your guests have chosen. Using symbols or colours on the name cards are a good way to do this as the cards are displayed on the table in front of each guest.
Yes. Your KML Event Manager will coordinate with you on available timing for a 30‐minute rehearsal. Dinners are not included.
Babysitting services may be arranged in advance through your Event Manager.
Yes, the Front Desk team can place gift bags or welcome bags in your guest rooms $5.00 per room drop. Your Event Manager can help you arrange delivery.

We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but early check‐in will depend upon hotel occupancy.
Killarney Mountain Lodge does not allow any outside food or beverage with the exception of wedding sweets as approved by Event Manager.
