Guided Sunset Paddle

Join our activity coordinator for a guided paddle through the crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay. Learn about the history of the area as you kayak through Killarney’s peaceful waters and watch the sun set over the white-tipped La Cloche mountains.

Canoe Clinic

Good technique makes a big difference in the water. The Resort’s canoe instructor teaches proper paddling/stroke technique and boat entry and exit. Basic canoe procedure is followed by a short excursion to the west side of George Island.

Lighthouse Hike

Beginning at Killarney Mountain Lodge, the Morning Lighthouse Hike takes you through dense forest, over pink granite rocks and along the rugged Georgian Bay coastline to the lighthouse. Providing a stunning view, the Lighthouse looks out over the bay, Manitoulin Island and the boat traffic moving in and out of the Killarney Channel.

Hike the Park

Embrace your Killarney adventure! Take in some of the most beautiful vistas the region has to offer on a hike through Killarney Provincial Park. Explore the thick forest trails that surround the Chikanishing River. Venture to places untouched by modern life. For a more challenging hike, consider climbing the infamous Crack Trail.

Killarney is a painter’s paradise. Not far from Killarney Mountain Lodge, members of the Group of Seven painted some of their most famous works. Local artists Danielle Gardner and Pierre Sabourin take you through the artistic process step by step as they instruct you from start to final stroke.
