Killarney Park Canoeing Adventure – Paddle and portage your canoe to the crystal clear waters and quartzite cliffs of Killarney Lake. Spectacular views, great swimming and a tasty packed lunch. $80 per person (AL 4-5)

Trek to Silver Peak - Ascend the highest point in Killarney Park. Paddle by canoe and then hike to the best view in Ontario. You'll work up an appetite for your hearty lunch. $80 per person (AL 5)

SCENIC MOTOR CRUISES

Baie Fine Fjord Motor Cruise – Visit Ontario's famous inland fjord and see spectacular white quartzite cliffs. Swim in the azure waters of Topaz Lake and feast on an unforgettable cookout lunch. You have the option of travelling by boat or hiking a 13 km wilderness trail through the Park where your guide will describe unique Killarney flora, trees and ancient geological specimens. (You’ll likely even see beaver, blue herons and a deer!) Everyone cruises home together. $105 per person (Cruise AL1-2; Topaz Lake hike AL 3; hike AL 5)

Evening Motor Cruise - Enjoy a leisurely evening cruise on Georgian Bay. Our Captain and Cruise Director will share stories of Killarney's natural and cultural history as the day draws to an end. $45 per person (AL 1)

WILDERNESS LODGE RETREAT

Johnnie Lake Escape - Discover our wilderness lodge in the heart of Killarney Park. Relax with a book under a leafy birch or enjoy the sand beach for swimming, windsurfing, sailing, canoe excursion to Ruth Roy Lake, bass fishing, great hike to a lookout and sizzling barbecue lunch. $80 per person (AL 1-3). Adventure Levels (AL)

  • AL 1 - a day of leisure with limited physical activity (may include getting in/out of a motor boat/sailboat)
  • AL 2 - short walks on fairly level but rocky terrain and/or gentle paddling for short distances (1-2 km)
  • AL 3 - hiking on rocky terrain with some uphill climbs and/or paddling medium distances (3-7 km)
  • AL 4 - hiking on rough, rocky terrain with several uphill climbs and/or paddling medium distances with chance of wind and wave conditions (3-10 km)
  • AL 5 - a strenuous day of hiking on rough, rocky terrain with consistent uphill climbs and/or paddling medium-long distances with chance of wind and wave conditions (6-12 km)

Killarney Mountain Lodge & Outfitters is committed to offering stimulating and enjoyable guided outdoor experiences. We provide top-quality equipment and experienced outdoor leaders with first aid certification, guide training and a real appreciation for the Killarney area.

Health, Fitness and Responsibility of Trip Participants

Our guided outdoor experiences are open to anyone in good health and good physical condition. You do not have to be an athlete, but many of our programs require a reasonable physical effort. Please refer to the specifics of each program. All participants are responsible for selecting trips that suit their interests, abilities, fitness level and health. Killarney Mountain Lodge & Outfitters must be provided with a signed release and the necessary completed medical forms prior to the trip. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time prior to, or during the trip. This decision will be made if, in the opinion of Killarney Mountain Lodge & Outfitters or through its representative or agent, an individual's behaviour or physical condition is detrimental to the trip operation, or the rights, interests, or enjoyment of themselves or other trip participants.

Outdoor adventures are always more enjoyable if you have the proper clothing and equipment. The following list is basic guideline that will enhance your Killarney experience. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.
